Summer Clay Experiences for Kids and Teens!
We are excited to introduce some new and returning summer art programming for kids and teens aged 6-16! From summer camp exploring clay and a variety of other media to intensive wheelthrowing classes for older teens, we’ve got something for the artistic kid in your life.
Registration for Summer Camp and our Pre-Teen and Teen Wheelthrowing Camps opens on Saturday January 10 at 10am!

Black Hound’s Wheelthrowing One Day Clay Workshops are a fun and easy way to experience clay for the first time! All of our workshops are taught by professional teaching artists and have easy step by step instructions designed for beginners who have never touched clay before. For those who are returning students, our workshops will give you a chance to focus on your skills and build on what you’ve learned before!

Black Hound Clay Studio west is an inclusive community space for ceramic artists located in the heart of West Philadelphia right off Cedar Park. Offering affordable studio workspace, classes and events throughout the year, BHCSW aims to be the locus of the Philadelphia ceramics community west of the Schuylkill River.
