SUMMER ART CAMP IS OPEN FOR REGISTRATION!
In this fun and intensive summer camp, we will explore all that clay and art has to offer! Taught by experienced instructors, small classes of 12 or less mean campers get one-on-one attention for their art projects!
Black Hound Summer Art Camp is for Ages 6 - 13 (must be entering First Grade in Fall 2025).
No clay or art experience is required - each session features unique projects and activities.

We are so excited to introduce some brand new One Day Workshops to our schedule: Handpainted Pasta Bowls, Sea Glass Soap Dishes and Illustrated Tiles!
Black Hound’s One Day Clay Workshops are a fun and easy way to experience clay for the first time! All of our workshops are taught by professional teaching artists and have easy step by step instructions designed for beginners who have never touched clay before.

ONE DAY WHEELTHROWING CLAY WORKSHOPS
Every Saturday!
Grab your besties, lovers or family members to attend this fun experience-based workshop. Each person will have the chance to try their hand at making some simple bowls or cups on the wheel, and then will select their best 2 pieces to be fired.
Black Hound Clay Studio west is an inclusive community space for ceramic artists located in the heart of West Philadelphia right off Cedar Park. Offering affordable studio workspace, classes and events throughout the year, BHCSW aims to be the locus of the Philadelphia ceramics community west of the Schuylkill River.
