black hound Summer art camp policies

PAYMENT:

Payment must be made at the time of registration in order to secure your child's spot at camp.

Installment Payment Plans Available: If you register before March 15, you may elect to use our installment payment plan and pay an intial 1/3 deposit upon registration if you register prior to March 15. The 2nd installment payment will be deducted from the card on file on April 15 and 3rd installment payment will be deducted from the card on file on May 15.

Registrations made after March 15, 2024 must pay in full when registering.

withdrawing:

Withdrawing before May 1: 100% refund less a 10% processing fee

Withdrawing between May 1-31: 50% refund

Withdrawing after May 31: no refund.

Refunds for partial attendance in a given 5 day camp week are not available.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:

Masking is optional during camp. All meals will take place outside weather permitting.

LUNCH POLICY:

Campers must be a bring a bagged lunch and two snacks (one for morning, one for afternoon) each day of camp.

Black Hound Art Camp is a peanut and tree nut-free camp.

CLOTHING and FOOTWEAR:

Campers must wear clothing that can get dirty and closed toe shoes. No flip flops please!

Campers will be split into two groups throughout the day and will have lunch on the Black Hound West Patio. In the case of hot or inclement weather, campers will have lunch indoors in the Black Hound studio flex space.

Please pack sunscreen and a hat if needed, we will remind campers to apply sunscreen before we go outside.

PARKING and DROP OFF:

By Car: On the first day, guardians must park and walk campers into the front door of Black Hound Clay Studio each day and check their camper with the camp director. Drop offs are permitted after the first day. Parking is available in the Black Hound Clay Studio West parking lot and on 50th street in front of the studio.

By Transit: The 34 Trolley stops a half block from Black Hound Clay Studio West at 50th and Baltimore.

Walking: If your camper is walking themselves to camp after the first day of camp, please note this when registering.
